News: One Click, One Thousand Riel: Liberty Carz’s Charity Campaign Makes a Miraculous Impact

Supported by Liberty Technology, the company has seen substantial growth in both business achievements and, equally important, corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

Our commitment extends beyond business growth; it is also about giving back to the community, with a special focus on children. Our charity campaign “Liberty Miracle – Share For Future” is a testament to this commitment. We believe in making a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged students, and this campaign is just one example of our dedication to that cause.

The Facebook campaign was both simple and impactful: for every designated post share, Liberty Carz pledged 1,000 riels. This garnered an overwhelming response, raising an impressive total of 12,369,000 riels. The funds were used to purchase essential materials such as 100 student uniforms, grade 1 – 12 lesson books, 150 pairs of shoes, 2000 kilograms of rice, 60 kilograms Soybean paste, 60 kilograms of soybean paste, 20 boxes of noodles, 20 pieces of canned fish, 20 pieces of fish sauce, and 20 pieces of soy sauce.

On September 22, 2023, the Liberty team embarked on a mission to transform these funds into tangible support for those in need. We visited the Hope for the Poor Association (H.A.P) and the Orphans Care and Training Organization in Kompong Speu province, where we distributed essential materials purchased with the campaign’s proceeds.

To show their gratitude for the contribution, children under the care of the organizations presented live Khmer traditional dance performances in front of Liberty Carz representatives.

“We are deeply moved by the impact of the ‘Liberty Miracle – Share For Future’ campaign,” said the Director of the Hope for the Poor Association. “These contributions will enable us to provide uniforms, student uniforms, textbooks, shoes, rice, and other essentials to enhance the education and well-being of our students. Liberty Carz has shown us that together, we can create a brighter future for these young minds.”

Liberty Carz also has a history of engagement with the Hope for the Poor Association by previously contributing to constructing bathrooms to improve the well-being of the children in their care.

This is not the first charity campaign proposed by Liberty Carz. In the past, Liberty Carz extended our support to Tropaing Khtum Primary School in Takeo province by generously donating textbooks, computers, and various essential academic resources. Thus, this ‘Liberty Miracle‘ Charity campaign serves as a testament to Liberty Carz’s ongoing commitment to charitable endeavors and our dedication to making a positive impact on the community.
