Unveiling the 2022 Mitsubishi Xpander – A Top-Notch Ride that Exceeds Expectations!

While Mitsubishi may not have caused a big stir in the domestic market, its durability and practicality still win the hearts of many consumers.

In the international market, Mitsubishi has introduced a brand-new Xpander Cross model, combining the features of an SUV and an MPV, tailored specifically for the Southeast Asian market. This update brings a fresh look and interior that is sure to turn heads. If it were introduced domestically, would Mitsubishi gain more attention?

This vehicle boasts the typical Mitsubishi family front face style, with distinctive headlights and grille design that catch the eye. The newly designed bumper exudes a sense of strength. However, the front face design elements may seem a bit intricate.

In addition, the new car comes with a bronze-green metallic color option, adding more texture. The side profile lines evoke an MPV, but the rugged contours, blacked-out elements, and roof luggage rack showcase SUV characteristics. The high ground clearance ensures excellent off-road capabilities. The unique rear design sees changes mainly in the rear bumper and taillights, giving it a youthful and stylish appearance. The interior layout is simple and practical, with a layered dashboard design featuring contrasting colors, along with a digital instrument panel, a floating large screen, and a four-spoke steering wheel.

What’s worth mentioning is the upgraded screen size and the addition of wireless charging for mobile phones. The seating arrangement still offers three rows of seats, ensuring maximum space utilization. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, producing a maximum power of 105 hp and a peak torque of 141 Nm. It comes with a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox, front-wheel drive, and Mitsubishi’s active yaw control system.

The release of the Xpander Cross model undoubtedly adds a bright spot to the Mitsubishi brand in the global market!
